We start with your customers! This may sound obvious but it’s a key point that’s all too often overlooked when designing a website. To design an effective website we need to understand your business and your customers. What we do is determined by your objectives but focuses on the most important people of all – your customers.

We typically begin the process by conducting a workshop with our web design team to discuss & agree on all primary elements of the project, including framework, navigation, content, functionality etc. From this we develop a strategy and begin the web design process…

With over 20 years experience NEDC knows what works. We have developed a tried and tested process putting your customers and potential customers to the forefront of your website. This ensures we design a site that delivers against your objectives.

Once we have presented the initial concept we go through feedback cycles, taking on board your comments and working together to make sure your website meets with your vision. We provide at least two rounds of design amends.

 

Using best practice techniques we develop sites that are user friendly, functional and engaging. From desktop to mobile we develop across a range of platforms to optimise customer engagement and conversion rates.

Once the way your website looks is finalised, we then build your new site on our secure testing servers. Once built we pass the site to you so you can see the way that the site fits together and works. Once you are happy with the functionality of the site we add your supplied content. We also offer a content development service if you are struggling to find the time to write your own.

Once the content is added we undergo independent usability testing and analysis. Basically, this means passing your site to independent reviewers who look at the sites usability from a potential users viewpoint.

We also provide full training so your key administrators become experts at using and populating your new site.

After review and testing, we are almost ready to launch…

 

Final checks then LAUNCH!… And time to crack open the champagne!

Before launching, we do everything we can to ensure that there is a smooth transition. We conduct our full pre-launch check list and make sure that your site is truly ready to start captivating your customers!

Finally its time to release your site into the wild and crack open the champagne! 

But hopefully it doesn’t end there – we’d like to support you every step of the way as your site evolves.

We provide full support via our Website Management Packages which covers phone support and fixing any bugs or errors that arise and we also provide a whole range of online marketing services.

 

What makes a site successful site is how it’s used once it’s gone live. We like to stay involved after launch to help improve and develop the site and increase the traffic to it.

You wouldn’t let a member of staff sit in the corner doing nothing all day, every day, so why do the same with your website?

A successful website is one that grows and develops, that’s used as a valuable asset. If you do nothing with your new website it will stagnate and fester, provide nothing for you and ultimately harm your business rather than helping it.
